Few days ago I got an E-Mail from the Web Operations Manager from Unicef (no link this time!) which I can not quote here because of the disclaimer:

The contents of this email and any attachments are confidential.
It is intended for the named recipient(s) only.
If you have received this email in error please notify the system manager or the sender immediately and do not disclose the contents to any one or make copies.

** IronMail at NYHQ scanned this email for viruses, vandals and malicious content **

In fact I got a cease-and-desist order or at least warning to immediately remove all the Unicef logos and links on my site since there is no contract or alliance between me an Unicef. Of course i could ask for such an alliance, but they want stuff like a marketing plan and such things from me which is kind of strange since this is a private weblog and no corporate blog or a company homepage.

So to clear it up: There is actually one post with the word “Unicef” in it. But thats simply a quote of the lyrics of the german song “An Tagen wie diesen” written by Fettes Brot. But it neighter includes a link to any of the mentioned sites nor a picture of the Unicef logo.

So UNICEF, tell me why i got this strange email! If there is any infringement of international or national law I am willing to remove the links/logo or whatever it is. But right now, theres no obvious infringement of your rights to me.
