Flickr’s biggest opponent, the smart startup Zooomr, wich offers great usability and fresh features, just has launched version 2.0 of its webservice.
Started on a late October, 26th in 2005, Zooomr was born to explore the information inside of photos. It aims to be not merely another photo sharing service, but something that helps connect people together through photos.
Perhaps one of the most important features of Zooomr is that it’s localized. With over 15 locales worldwide and growing Zooomr aims to connect the entire world together in the most seamless manner imaginable.
Also a great feature is that zooomr offers geotagging, so that you can browse the photos by region or see whos also using zooomr in your area. So all in all its a very usable tool to manage and share your pictures online.
